How does Bush & Noble value my yacht?

Bush & Noble values your yacht using a detailed, market-led approach. We analyse recent comparable sales, current market availability, condition, specification, build quality, and location, alongside our first-hand knowledge of buyer demand. This ensures your yacht is positioned accurately to attract serious buyers and achieve the strongest possible result.

There isn’t a simple or fixed answer, as the timeline can vary significantly depending on a number of factors. These include the type of boat, how it is presented to the market, how well it has been maintained, how it is priced, and the time of year or season in which it is listed for sale.

Some yachts may attract interest and offers quickly, while others require more time to find the right buyer at the right price.

Once a price and terms are agreed, the process typically moves quite efficiently. In most cases, it takes around 2–3 weeks for the transaction to close, surveys and formalities to be completed, and ownership to be successfully transferred to the new owner.

No, it is not required. The sale can be handled entirely remotely, and we regularly manage transactions smoothly without the owner needing to be physically present. From viewings and negotiations to paperwork and ownership transfer, everything can be coordinated efficiently on your behalf.
